Princesses 👸

Remember this garland? I made this last March for Aira 5th birthday party. But it is only now that I got the chance to hang it in their playroom. What a busy mama..hehehe.

Now the room is well decorated for my sweet princesses ...; )

Picnic in the garden

We were supposed to go for picnic (jom pergi beach!!!)... Ermmn, tiba-tiba rasa malas pulak nak drive pagi-pagi ni.

Ok, Kita picnic kat garden rumah je ye...8.00 am siap masak bihun, bentang tikar, air teh panas, pinggan... checked.

Best jugak rupanya santai-santai macam ni. Dapat dengar bunyi burung. Anak-anak pun seronok dapat berlari.. Kalau tidak, asyik terbaring depan TV jer...huhuhu

Sedang seronok berpicnic, hujan pulak turun.. drizzle..; )

Apapun, Alhamdulillah....we had fun!!!

Hajj 1433H ( Part 1)

Alhamdulillah , kami selamat menunaikan rukun Islam yang kelima tahun ini.

Kami bertolak ke kota Madinah dari Bahrain dengan bas. Memang mencabar jugak. Ye la, first time betul-betul bersama dengan orang local Bahrain.. Ada yang langsung tak boleh cakap English.

Ambil masa satu hari satu malam jugak from Bahrain. Sampai Madinah keesokan hari waktu Asar.
Alhamdulillah... Memang cantik sangat.. Ini first time kami menjejakkan kaki ke Kota Madinah. Sebelum ni masa buat umrah kami straight dari Jeddah ke Mekah je.

Baju uniform raya!

Alhamdulillah.... Sebenarnya dari tahun lepas lagi memang niat nak buatkan baju untuk bibik ni tapi tak berkesempatan. Tahun ni berjaya juga akhirnya.

Saya buatkan baju macam baju kurung tapi lengan pendek skit supaya mudah untuk membasuh pinggan. Kainnya pula saya covert kepada seluar.

Ini pertama kali  la jahit seluar. Alhamdulillah....menjadi. Dari pagi bangun sahur 2.30am subuh 3.15am (musim panas Subuh awal) terus sambung jahit baju and seluar. Break sekejap untuk masak for Aira and Aisya dan bakar kuih bakar pandan, sambung jahit seluar.

Tepat jam 4pm siap. Yeay!

Cara saya untuk memupuk minat anak pada baju kurung

Anak-anak dara saya sangat suka pakai baju dress, skirt. Ini semua atas pengaruh barbie, princess dan kartun.

Saya cuba nak buatkan dia tertarik dengan baju kebangsaan kita. Errmm, susah jugak kan? Lagi-lagi bila kta tinggal di luar negara.  Dia asyik tertarik dengan apa yang kawan-kawan pakai.

Untuk memupuk minat mereka, ini cara yang telah saya cuba:

1. Saya tambahkan bunga atau reben atau manik bling-bling pada baju kurung mereka.

2. Buat aksesori yang sedondon dengan material baju kurung. Contohnya, saya buat headband guna kain yang sama dengan baju kurung.

Setakat ini, teknik ni agak berjaya. Harap-harap boleh bertahan lama la yer..

Bowling 3 negara

Last Monday, ladies diplomatic corps dari 3 bush negara iaitu Malaysia, Brunei Dan Indonesia main bowling di Bowling Planet Bahrain City Center.

Bukan tournament, tapi suka-suka.

Lepas bowling kami ke food court menikmati pizza yang panjang Nya 1 meter dengan 4 perisa.. nyum nyum!!!

Harap-harap next time dapat main lagi bersama Dan maybe boleh tambah from other country pulak.

Polka dot dress..

Alhamdulillah, siap pun dress ni.. Punyala lama, asyik kene potong dengan baju lain jer.

Hampir sama, bolehla..
Saya ikut pattern dari The Pop Look pink polka dot. Pop Look punye guna Lycra, saya guna fabric lain. Cotton satin.

Jus oren ni memang sedap and harganya tak semahal mana.

Missing all my friends

Huhuhu....tiba-tiba terasa sedih and sayu. Teringat kawan-kawan di Malaysia.

Padahal Kalau kat Malaysia tak jumpa pun. Semuanya sibuk dengan hal masing-masing. Tapi entah tak tau kenapa, terasa rindu sangat and terasa nak sangat jumpa dan borak-borak.

Maybe Saya homesick Malaysia kot.

Senaman ok

Well, sudah beberapa minggu lepas memang dah start senaman guna apps dalam phone ni and buat senamtari ...

But I need more!

So, just start yoga this week...  Dengan harapan dapat lose some weight yang berlebih ni.. Huhu

Tertangguh

Nampaknya baju polka dot ku terpaksa tertangguh, baju untuk Acara khatam Quran masih belum dapat siap lagi, Ada jer masalah nyer.

Baju kurung raya tahun ketiga in Bahrain

Yeay.... Alhamdulillah siap jugak baju kurung anak-anak dara ni setelah mengharungi segala rintangan dan dugaan.

 Maklumlah buat baju kurung cuma setahun sekali, kan? Terpaksalah merangkak- rangkak, terutamanya part leher and keriak.

Mesin jahit pun kadang-kadang bikin problem.  Bila kita nak siap kan mulalah tersangkut, benang atas asyik terputus.. Dugaan.

Tapi yang penting selamat sudah semuanya. Tinggal nak tampal batu je lagi. Aira ni kalau nak baju kurung mesti bling bling....  ; )

Mothers day celebration

We celebrated Mothers Day at Maya Chocolaterie in Seef Mall, Bahrain and enjoyed the chocolate fondue.. Yummy!

And I got this "Mummy and Me Cookbook " from Aira and Aisya. Thank you my sweety pies!!!

And thanks to my hubby too.

Long dresses

Next up is the full cotton long dresses.

I love summer, it's time to wear long dress and long skirt!

Terasa nak makan kuey teow dengan taugeh.

Kalau nak beli, taugeh kat Bahrain ni lembik and ada bau yang kurang menyenangkan.

Jom buat taugeh.

Maybe esok lusa boleh makan taugeh.

Surprise Malaysia!

It's been a week since we arrived from Bahrain. It's a surprise!

We arrived in Malaysia on 17 March 2012 at 3.30pm and went straight to my auntie's house for my cousin birthday party.
Surprise!!! We are here. All our family members were so surprised..🎂

Princess party

It's been a really long time I did not post any thing on my blog...its quite busy lately...

Sekarang ni lega sikit, but still have the next program this weekend.... :-)

This post is about my little princess..its her 5th birthday...It is a Princess Birthday Ball. Only girls are allowed!

But at the same time, it's a budget party, so most of the decoration and food are self made.

Decorations


1. The hanging crown : Felt that I cut and sew together

2. Flower : Its a Pom-pom flower that I made from tissue paper and put it in recycled bottle. I drew the inspiration from this tutorial.

3. Small crown (cupcakes decoration) : I cut the crown from the pink paper wrappers and glue it on the toothpicks.

4. Heart shape wand : Used colour paper and cut it into heart shape and glued it on satay sticks

1. Cupcakes : Chocolate cakes with cream cheese and chocolate ganache

3. Pink popcorn : I referred to this tutorial to make this..and I am so glad I make this, because the princesses really love the popcorn..:)
